We whipped up our boys' very first Valentine boxes last night! I love the restored joy brought to holidays when you enjoy them with your children. Their excitement is contagious.
I was completely inspired by the Tattle Monster I saw on Pinterest.
We used shoe boxes -- thank goodness my husband just got a few new pair of shoes / they're Keens... obviously... thank you very much cheapo dollar spray paint from Walmart :) -- and spray painted them.
My boys glued on the dots and eyes... and helped with gluing on the teeth.
They were so excited to take them to pre-school this morning, and even more excited to bring them home filled with sweet Valentines.
